Internship - Deep Learning for Computer Vision (all genders)

Who are we?

We follow the vision of making deep learning accessible to everyone. Our deep learning platform enables inexperienced users to create individual deep neural networks for various use cases in computer vision. As a leading provider of AI software, we design solutions for numerous domains: industrial automation, manufacturing, retail, surveillance, logistics, and transportation. We founded Data Spree in 2018, and our headquarters is in Berlin, Germany.

What will you do?

You will be part of our development team and focus on on deep learning technologies. This covers implementations for our Vision AI Platform Deep Learning DS as well as individual projects.

• Learn how to train and evaluate deep neural networks
• Development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts for computer vision problems based on deep learning
• Use Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, Deep Learning DS and Inference DS
• Transform and prepare data for training and evaluation
• Bring in your own ideas and expertise for creatively solving interesting problems

What experience do you need?

We're looking for people who are passionate about deep learning and artificial intelligence for computer vision tasks. You should be willing to join a young team of ethusiasts that try to squeeze out what's possible using a lot of data and processing power.

• Enrolled student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar (finished 4th semester)
• Strong interest in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence
• Programming experience (ideally Python)
• Basic understanding of neural networks
• Motivation to work with frameworks/libraries such as PyTorch, OpenCV, and the ONNX Runtime
• Fluency in English and German
